On June 28, 2013 Shelborne Development along with the Jefferson East Business Association(JEBA) and The East Jefferson Corridor Collaborative celebrated the completion of Historic Chalmers Square, a traditional downtown mixed-use development in the heart of the East Jefferson Corridor.

1/9/2014 - Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits honors Shelborne Development’s LaVogue Square with an Honorable Mention for for the 2013 LIHTC Property that Best Reflects Market Success in Overcoming Significant Obstacles Award is presented to the Shelborne Development Company for its development of LaVogue Square in Detroit, Mich. July 16, 2014 - The Detroit Press Club meets to celebrate the grand reopening of Palmer Lodge, a premiere building anchoring the corner of Woodward Avenue and Covington Street in Historic Palmer Park, hosted by Mark Leipsitz and Kathy Makino Leipsitz of Shelborne Development.
